Students at Masters Dress To Impress

During Red Ribbon Week, Masters Elementary celebrated by "Dressing for the Red Carpet". Students and teachers dressed in their best clothes and walked down the red carpet when they entered the school.

Character Pumpkin Patch at Hopkins

Hopkins Elementary displayed their annual "Character Pumpkin Patch" in the library for all to enjoy. Each student decorated a pumpkin as their favorite character from a book. Students got very creative and let their imaginations run wild.

Franz Teamz Up For Fall Fun

The staff of Franz Elementary came together for an afternoon of fall spirit and team building. Everyone who attended had a choice of creating a unique piece, painting either a candy corn or pumpkin door hanger. Teachers became students while Southern Junk Creations helped them create masterpieces that can be displayed inside or out! Great conversation and camaraderie were had by all. Teachers are looking forward to another session scheduled later in the year to paint an ornament, a tree, or a present for the holidays.

Miller’s Point Café Now Serving Tasty Books

Bright red tablecloths and flickering electronic candles greeted students as they were escorted into the Miller’s Point Elementary Library “Book Tasting” event. Each student was given their own menu and the chance to explore a variety of books in the genres of fiction, biography, mystery, poetry, non-fiction and graphic novels. As the dinner bell rang, Library Media Specialist Debbie Fitzpatrick discussed the different types of books available in the library and how students can choose the ones that suite their individual tastes. Mrs. Fitzpatrick topped of the experience with a tasty snack of goldfish crackers and alphabet pretzels. Students were delighted with the treats for their brains and bodies!

Hopkins Celebrates Perfect Attendance

Students had a great time at the first 9 weeks Atten"dance" Party. As an incentive for being at school each day, students got to show off their dance moves and enjoy a snack.
